From Japan with Love (and Dashi) took two weeks of eating and traveling in Japan and condensed the footage into a travel- and food-porn extravaganza just over three minutes in length. Part of the Perennial Plate‘s Food World Tour season, it was intended to make the viewer hungry for Japanese food. Its hyper-kinetic pace and montage style highlights striking culinary images and an intense view of contemporary Japan.
