Ferment is a profile of Sandor Ellix Katz, a fermentation revivalist and author of “Wild Fermentation” and the “Art of Fermentation.” This documentary shows Katz at home in Tennessee, preparing cabbage for sauerkraut and talking about fermentation as a vehicle for building community and powering social change. It also covers some of his personal history.
